Not every tab has to be productive. Free Surf suspends site rules for a duration you choose — five, fifteen, thirty, sixty minutes, or unlimited — and says so plainly on the bar. Naming it is the point: unplanned browsing stops being a failure and becomes a decision.
How it works
- Start Free Surf from the dashboard, the panel or the Focus Bar.
- Site rules stand down for the whole session; the bar shows the surf countdown.
- Stopping Free Surf from the bar brings you back to the BootTask dashboard, so the day resumes with a choice.
- Alarms are rescheduled if the extension restarts, so the countdown is never silently lost.
- An optional notification marks the end of the session.
