The off-task badge

A quiet marker next to the bar when the site is not one of the task's sites. No wall, no block.

When a task has sites and you open something else, BootTask says so — once, in a small badge beside the Focus Bar. Nothing is blocked, nothing flashes. Open the badge and you get the task's own sites as links, plus the option to add the current one.

How it works

  • The badge appears only when the active task actually has sites configured.
  • Opening it lists the sites planned for the task, each a link back to the work.
  • Add this site to the task promotes the current domain into the task's allowed sites, permanently.
  • Each off-task page view increments a private deviation counter on the task — visible to you, reported to nobody.
