The Intercept Decision Panel

Optional, off by default. When a navigation leaves the task's scope, it asks — it does not decide.

If you switch interception on, a page outside the task's sites gets a decision panel instead of silence. You allow it for this task, forbid it for this task, or pick a different task. Three named consequences, no punishment, and the browsing itself is never severed.

How it works

  • Allow this page for this task adds the domain to the task's allowed sites, for good.
  • Forbid this page for this task removes it from the allowed sites and records it as blocked for that task — enforced while Focus Mode is on.
  • Choose another task opens the BootTask panel without granting the current page anything.
  • You can also finish the current task and create a new one for the site you actually landed on, or file it for later and go back.
  • The panel offers suggested domains for the new task, drawn from the same local matching engine.
