Useful-site suggestions

Type a task title and the domains you actually use for that kind of work come up first.

Attaching sites to a task should not mean typing domains from memory. BootTask matches the words in your task title against your own browsing history and a set of keyword categories, and proposes the domains that fit. There is no model and no server: it is word matching over data that never leaves your browser.

How it works

  • Title words are matched against category keywords in English and French.
  • Your Chrome history supplies the candidate domains and their visit counts, ranked by relevance to the title.
  • Accepting or dismissing a suggestion adjusts the ranking for that category and that domain, so the list gets more yours over time.
  • The history scan is cached for hours — it is heavy, and your top sites barely move day to day.
