The list is the whole product surface. You type a title, optionally give it a duration and a set of useful sites, and it sits in the order you intend to work. Nothing starts until you explicitly start it — the list is a plan, not a queue that fires on its own.

How it works

  • Type a title and press Enter. A task is one line; nothing else is required.
  • Pick a duration from the presets, or leave it unlimited — an unlimited task simply has no time to run out.
  • Attach useful sites, or none at all. A task with no sites is never treated as off-task, whatever you open.
  • Open a task's focused configuration panel for duration, sites, notes, brief, project, recurrence and deadlines without losing the context of the list.
  • Rename in place: the title is editable where it sits, with no modal in the way.
  • Three ways to reorder: drag a row, use the up and down arrows, or hold a row to get a Place before which task? list. The order is stored per task, so it survives sync, restart and every surface.
  • New tasks land at the top by default. Settings › Preferences flips that to the bottom if you build your day downwards.
  • Add or start in one gesture: the composer can create the task and immediately make it the active one.
